Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Sidecar app and the sidecar.vip website, operated by Sebastien Mock, sole trader, Australia. By using Sidecar you agree to these terms.

The service

Sidecar is a shared organizer for households: calendar, shopping list, to-do lists and birthdays. Sidecar is currently free. Paid plans may be introduced in the future; if they are, you will be clearly informed before anything is charged, and no feature you rely on will be silently taken away without notice.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that happens under your account. One account per person.

Your content

You own the content you create in Sidecar. You grant us the limited license needed to store it, sync it between devices, and display it to the household members you share it with. We claim no other rights to it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Sidecar to store or share unlawful content, to harass others, to attempt to access other users' data, or to interfere with the service's operation. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Sidecar reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Features may change as the product evolves.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it (currently nil), and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Termination

You can stop using Sidecar and delete your account in the app at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will note it in the app and update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
